Today is Nelson Mandela’s 93rd birthday. The 67 Minutes campaign urges everyone to do 67 minutes of service to someone in need to honour the 67 years that he has spent making the world a better place.

Two of my friends are in police custody after an attempt at shoplifting went awry. After being taken in, one of them frantically called my girl and asked her to help in whatever way possible. Usually, people who take part in such petty crimes are let off after paying a fine or whatever, but unluckily for them, magistrates don’t work on weekends, so they’ll be in their holding cells until Monday for their court appearance and bail hearing. All I wanna do right now is laugh at them for being so dumb.
